Equipments worthing millions of naira belonging to a new generation church has been stolen by yet to be identified persons in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State.
The equipments belonging to the Ekredjebor branch of the Living Faith Church were allegedly stolen on December 23, a day to Christmas eve in 2025 and they worth over N100 million.
An anonymous source disclosed that the church was targeted as all the equipment were newly acquired and installed ahead of Christmas celebration.
The source revealed the stolen items to include, eight (8)new modern complete Air Conditioning system, installed solar system, x32 Console, Montage 8 keyboard, Yamaha Keyboard, 2 virgin monitors, 4 monitors, 7 amplifiers, a pair of Sub- Speakers, a pair full range and bags of rice meant for widows amongst others.
According to the source, “When the hoodlums came, they tied down the security guard in the premises and they gained access to the Resident Pastor, Assistant Resident Pastors and the Accountant offices.
“They went away with computers, all the installed solar system equipments in Church and some bags of rice meant for widows.
The matter was reported at Ofuoma Police division for further investigation.
“Now the church is hiring instruments during programs pending the outcome of the police investigation though nobody has been arrested in connection with the stolen items.”
A member of the church from another branch who condemned the incessant stealing of church equipments lamented why Living Faith Churches are always targeted.
“This was how they stole equipments in our churches in Ekiugbo and Asaba sometimes ago. Very soon God will expose them.”
