A tragic incident occurred at Taraba State Polytechnic, Jalingo, as a 100-level student, Iorhee Saanmoyol Paul, was electrocuted while hoisting a PDP flag during a student-led event. The metal pole used reportedly came into contact with a high-tension electricity cable, resulting in life-threatening injuries.
