The United States soybean industry has signed two letters of intent with Chinese importers covering the five billion dollar purchases by the latter of an additional 12 million tonnes of soybeans in the 2017/18 marketing year. Irate taxi drivers set up bonfires and blocked major roads in and around Abuja’s Wuse Market yesterday protesting the brutalization of their members by security operatives attached to the FCT task force.
