Lagos PDP mourns caretaker chairman

Some chieftains of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Sunday described the death of the party ‘s Caretaker Chairman in Lagos State, Chief Babatunde Solanke, as shocking. The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Solanke died on Saturday at the Lagos State Teaching Hospital after slumping in a hotel in Ikeja. 3.4m suffer malnutrition in North-East

The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UN-OCHA) says about 3.4 million people need nutrition assistance due to food crisis caused by Boko Haram insurgency in the North-East.
