Acting President Yemi Osinbajo on Thursday met behind closed doors with the Emir of Kano, Malam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, in the Presidential Villa, Abuja. The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the meeting which took place at the Vice-President’s mini conference room, lasted for about two hours. 20 feared killed in C’ River, Ebonyi communal clash

About 20 people were on Thursday feared killed in an invasion of the Ofonekom community in the Obubra Local Government Area of Cross River State by a neighbouring community of Izzi in Ebonyi State. It was gathered that conflict between the two communities had been recurring over a land dispute.
