Omote Congratulates Oborevwori, Calls For Cooperation Among Party Bigwigs

 

 

Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, Prince Emmanuel Omote has congratulated the governorship candidate of the party, Rt. Hon Sheriff Oborevwori for his victories at the just concluded primaries.

 

 

Oborevwori, the current Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly scored 590 votes clinch the PDP ticket beating the state Deputy Governor Barr. Kingsley Otuaro, the senator representing Delta South, James Manager, Olorogun David Edevbie and others at the Asaba Township stadium.

 

In his congratulatory message, Omote described Oborevwori victory as the handiwork of God and dedication of the party delegates toward achieving a common goal.

 

He said, “The primary election was free and fair without any hitches. History was being made again as it shows that in 2023, Delta state will won by our great party, the PDP.

 

“I want to use this opportunity to appeal to other aspirants who did not make join hands with the Rt. Hon Sheriff as there was no winner but a family affairs.

 

“Let us all join hands together and build a delta of our dream as we looking forward to ensure that our victory will not stop at the primaries.

“We have work to do in other to solidly grip the state to deepen the existing democracy.

 

I want to once again congratulate all othe candidates for the state Assemblies, House of Representatives and senators.
