Gunmen Abduct Ohworode In Delta

..demands N15m ransom

Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have kidnapped the vice principal of Otor-Udu Secondary school, at Imode in Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State.

The victim, Mrs. Owhorode according to sources was allegedly abducted at Imode community at about 2:am on Sunday 19th May, 2019.

The source alleged that her abductors have made contact with the family for a ransom of N15 million to secure her freedom.

“We are no longer safe even in our rural communities. Demanding for N15million from a vice principal of a school is ridiculous.

A visit to Imode community, the family house was under lock as residents around refused to speak on the matter.

Contacted for confirmation, the Acting Delta State Police Public Relation Officer, DSP Onome Onowakpoyeya in a text message said, “Good Day Sir, Please you will hear from me thanks”. As at the time of this report she is yet to comfirm the incident.

As at the time of this report, Mrs. Owhorode is yet to be released or rescued from her abductors.
