Japan: Torrential rain kills 27, 47 missing

At least 47 people were missing and five were in a critical condition as torrential rain that has killed 27 people pounds western and central Japan, public broadcaster NHK said on Saturday. It reported that more than 1.6 million people had been evacuated from their homes. Dangote Refinery sets 2020 for petrol, fertilizer export begins this year

The Dangote refinery plans to start selling petrol, diesel and aviation fuel by early 2020, but the fertiliser plant, will start producing urea this year, Edwin Devakumar, the group executive director told Bloomberg. Nigerian Army Officers’ Wives Association (NAOWA) on Saturday distributed food items to Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Konduga Local Government Area of Borno.
