UN predicts 3.5% economic growth for Africa

Africa is expected to see a recovery in Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth from its present 3.0 per cent to 3.5 per cent in 2018. This is according to a statement obtained from the UN Economic Commission for Africa (ECA) website on Wednesday in Abuja. Kidnappers kill 2 cops, abduct 2 Canadians, 2 Americans

Kidnappers have killed two Nigerian policemen and abducted two Americans and two Canadians in  Kaduna state. The foreigners were kidnapped on Kwoi-Jere road in Kagarko Local Government Area  on their way to Abuja from  Kafanchan and Kaura. They were ambushed  around 7:00 PM on Tuesday.
