Nigerian States get another tranche of Paris loan refund

The Federal Government has released a state-by-state breakdown of another tranche of refund amounting to N243.8 billion being over-deductions on Paris Club, London Club Loans. The Minister of Finance, Mrs Kemi Adeosun, in a statement on Tuesday, said that the debt service deductions were in respect of the Paris Club, London Club and Multilateral debts of the Federal and State government from 1995 to 2002. A high profile Boko Haram terrorist, Konto Fanami, and three other repentant terrorists have surrendered to the Nigerian Army on Monday. The Army Spokesman, Brig.-Gen. Quit notice: MASSOB sets deadline for mass return of Igbos from North

The Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) has declared August of 2017 as a date for the mass return of all Igbo indigenes living in the north.
